Our North Central Regional winner, Laura Basse, was awarded 6th place in the 2020 NATSAA Final round, recently held in New York City! Laura was chosen out of a field of 12 singers and receives a $1000 award.
Laura has sung all over the world and at Carnegie Hall in a sold-out debut concert. She has worked with notable singers Sherrill Milnes, Evelyn Lear, Carol Vaness, Sylvia McNair and Timothy Noble. She studies with Wisconsin NATS member Tanya Kruse-Ruck(UWM). Laura lives with her husband, Ryan in Helenville, a small town in southeastern WI.Congratulations, Laura!

"Immer leiser wird mein Schlummer" - Brahms;
"Sea-Snatch", "Praises of God" (Hermit Songs) - Barber

"Ma, rendi pur contento" - Bellini
